I've finished the first draft. The third chapter still needs some more work, but the other two just need light editing. I'm putting it aside for the time being though. Years ago, I read this advice one of my favourite writers gave: after you finish your draft, you should set it aside and spend some time reading, so that when you go back to edit it, your brain is in reader mode. So far I've found that advice to be true.
